Starting all Over with Sewing
I’m starting over. I first learned to sew from my grandmother. She taught me all about buying patterns and the basics of using a sewing machine and hand sewing. Everything else, I’ve learned on my own through trial and error and the help of YouTube. DIY Pleated Pants | McCall M7726
Of the patterns that I mentioned in my April/May plans, I was able to close out the month with McCall’s M7726 pants pattern in View B. When I originally decided to sew this pattern, I planned to sew view C. This is the capri length version of the pattern; however, after seeing other makes of this pattern, I decided to go with the longer, view B option. Fortunately, I purchased extra material in anticipation of having to make a full butt adjustment.
