About

Like most women in their twenties, I thought that I would be married by twenty-five with a white picket fence and 2.5 kids. To my surprise, life didn’t go as planned.

In 2011, I found myself at the lowest point of my life. Not only was I mourning the death of my father and ending a long term relationship, but I was walking into adulthood financially blind. I had accumulated over $78,000 in student loan debt with no clue how I was going to pay it off.

I began chronicling her journey through adulthood and finances on my first blog, FantasticFo. I was there that I shared my journey of singlehood, reconnecting with my now-husband, and becoming debt free.

In 2017, I the Girl Talk with Fo podcast and blog, establishing me as a respected voice in the personal finance space. Since then, I’ve been featured on Yahoo! Finance, MSN Money, Bankrate.com, His & Her Money, The Penny Hoarder, Clever Girl Finance, GoBankingRates, and more!

I’m a two time author, most recently releasing my book Dump Debt & Build Bank: The Everyday Chick’s Guide to Money.

When I’m not creating content I like to lend my expertise as a consultant helping online entrepreneurs leverage systems and automation to make their processes more efficient.

I am passionately committed to helping women live faith-filled, financially free, and fulfilled lives.
