Summer Sew Challenge

I have joined forces with the wonderful Brittany J. Jones of BrittanyJJones.com to host the #SummerSewChallenge! ? Get excited, because I am!! We’ve partnered to host this summer contest using one of the McCall patterns that we both love, M7603. So, get your button hole and pockets game up, because it’s on!

Participation is simple. All you have to do is:

  1. Make any view of the M7603 pattern
  2. Post your make(s) on social media, including Instagram*, Facebook, the McCall Pattern Company Facebook page, and/or Twitter. 
  3. Use the hashtags #SummerSewChallenge and #M7603

The challenge begins June 1st and ends at 11:59 EST on July 1st. Open to US residents only. 

What would a challenge be without prizes?? It wouldn’t be this one! ? Winners will receive the following:

1st Place Winner – (5) current McCall Pattern Company patterns of his/her choice
2nd and 3rd Place Winners – (2) current McCall Pattern Company patterns of his/her choice

A team of judges will choose their favorite makes from the submissions. Judges will look for fabric use, fit, quality of work, and overall styling. Makes must maintain the basic intent of the pattern.

The winners will be announced via Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter the week of July 4th. So, be sure to follow @FoAlexanderDIY, @BrittanyJJones, and @McCallPatternCompany on Instagram. All posts will be updated to reflect the winners, once announced.
