If you haven’t caught on just yet, I am a huge bargain shopper. There are very few things that I will pay full price for…and I mean very few. I talked about it in my blog, The Frugal Girl’s Guide to Shopping. Shopping for my sewing projects is no different. Rest assured that I’ll always find a way to save a penny. I call it being frugal and, more importantly, smart!

This past weekend, Joann Fabrics had a huge sale on patterns. I’m talking patterns that are regularly priced at $20 and above going for $1.67. That’s my kind of sale! In true “bargainista” fashion, I took them up on the offer and bought as many items as my budget would allow. Yes…I still stuck with the budget. Sales get me excited, but not crazy.
